We have a collaborative environment, and we are looking for motivated and talented post doctoral researcher with a positive attitude. The Translational Neurogenetics team works towards the understanding of human neurological diseases, using molecular genetics, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, cell biology, electrophysiology and behavioral analysis, and to apply this knowledge to the clinical context. Diversity is welcome. The postdoctoral fellow will be integrated in an ongoing project funded by the La Caixa Foundation. Position: Experience in animal experimentation with a legal certification by the Portuguese authority DGAV. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in rodents behavior assessment, molecular biology techniques (including PCR, qPCR, fluorescent western blotting, immunofluorescence, brain clearing techniques). Additional experience in the establishment/characterization of cellular models and advanced microscopy (particularly light sheet) will be valued. Post-doctoral contracts are available for 1 year, and starting date and salary can be adjusted with the candidate.
