Policy Intern (Fall 2026) Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Department: Policy and Advocacy Deadline date: August 14, 2026 Apply for this Job Share this page About the Internship Interns in this position will gain valuable experience in policy by working closely with staff on a wide variety of issues. They will analyze policies and draft memos on proposed legislation and existing Georgia laws. Interns will also monitor legislative hearings and governmental meetings to take detailed notes. They may also assist with community engagement activities and training and organizing volunteers. This position requires in-person work, though there is some flexibility for remote tasks. Applicants should have strong research and writing skills, a high attention to detail, and an interest in civil liberties. Upperclassmen or graduate-level students are preferred. The internship this term will offer academic credit only . Individual schedules will be arranged with intern supervisors. Application All applicants must submit a resume.
