Description Precision Foot and Ankle is a leading podiatry practice in San Pedro dedicated to helping people of all ages and lifestyles get back to enjoying the activities they love. Precision Foot and Ankle is looking for a Podiatrist to join our team in our San Pedro office. Under the direction of the CMO, the Podiatrist provides routine and referral podiatric services to patients. • Examine patients’ legs and feet to diagnose diseases • Treat bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles • Perform Wound Care management • Diagnose diseases and deformities of the foot and ankle using medical histories, physical examinations, x-rays, and laboratory test results • Prescribes medications, corrective devices, physical therapy, or surgery • Advise patients about treatments and foot and ankle care techniques necessary for prevention of future problems • Provide education/consultation to patients, family, and health care team • Provide health promotion and preventive medicine • Maintain appropriate medical records on assigned patients Requirements • Ability to observe, assess and record symptoms, reactions, and progress • Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care • Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population • Be proficient with computers, and have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR database Education and Experience • Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred • Current License as a Podiatrist in the State of California • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an Accredited School of Podiatry • Completion of an accredited podiatric residency program Benefits of Working with Bay Area Foot Care • Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans • HSA with Employer Contribution • FSA • Generous PTO Program • 401k with a 3% Match • Employee Assistance Program • Life and AD&D Insurance • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability To find out more, visit https://www.bayareafootcare.com/
