Description
Full-time - Permanent 37 Hours a Week You know what good plumbing and gas work looks like. Now help apprentices build the skill, confidence and standards to do it well.  Plumbing and gas are changing. Learners still need strong practical skills, safe working habits and a clear understanding of installation, maintenance and fault-finding. But they also need to understand where the industry is heading, including low-carbon heating, sustainability and new technologies. As our Plumbing and Gas Lecturer, you’ll help apprentices build that foundation. You’ll teach Plumbing and Gas apprenticeship programmes, mainly up to Level 3, bringing your industry knowledge into the classroom and workshop. You’ll help learners understand the standards expected by employers, the importance of safe and compliant work, and the professional behaviours that matter on site and with customers. This role is for someone with strong occupational competence and current Gas Safe registration. You may already be an experienced lecturer, or you may be an industry professional who has trained, supervised or supported others and is ready to move into teaching. What matters is that you can explain the trade clearly, set high standards and help apprentices develop the skills they need for work, progression and the future of the industry.
