Role Overview Vermont Mechanical is seeking a skilled Plumber / Pipefitter to join its growing team supporting projects across northwest Vermont and Clinton County, New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial job sites, contributing to high-quality installations while collaborating with experienced professionals across multiple trades. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and is looking to continue developing their career in the plumbing and piping field. Lead or foreman experience is not required. Responsibilities • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to support the layout and installation of plumbing and piping systems • Install, assemble, and test plumbing and piping systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes • Coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless system integration on job sites • Assist with material and equipment planning to support efficient project execution • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members across job sites • Support inspections and ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements • Contribute to a safe, organized, and productive work environment Qualifications • Vermont Plumbing License preferred (or ability to obtain); equivalent experience considered • Experience in plumbing and/or pipefitting within commercial or industrial settings • Medical Gas certification is a plus • Familiarity with Natural Gas or Propane systems is beneficial • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within northwest Vermont and Clinton County, NY • OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team • Solid communication skills and a dependable work ethic Benefits • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package • Opportunities for ongoing training and professional development • Supportive team environment with opportunities for long-term career growth Invitation to Apply The Source and Recruit Company has been retained to assist Vermont Mechanical in the search for this position.
