Description
The Plumber – Mechanical is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing, water supply, drainage, sewage, and related mechanical systems within the facility. The role ensures all plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations. Key Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, and sanitary piping systems. Inspect plumbing fixtures, pumps, valves, and piping for leaks, blockages, or damage. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems. Install and maintain water heaters, pumps, booster pumps, and related equipment. Repair and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, and other plumbing fixtures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency plumbing issues. Perform pipe threading, cutting, welding/brazing (if required), and fitting work. Ensure proper operation of sewage and drainage systems. Read and interpret plumbing and mechanical drawings. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times. Report material requirements and maintenance issues to the supervisor. Keep accurate maintenance records and complete assigned work orders. Support other engineering and maintenance activities as required. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing maintenance or MEP works. Knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, valves, drainage, and water distribution. Ability to read technical drawings and use plumbing tools. Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures. Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
