Our client is a globally recognized technology and engineering company that develops innovative solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and process industries. As a Senior Automation Software Engineer , you will play a key role in delivering advanced automation projects that drive efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability. Take ownership of all software-related activities within complex automation projects. Develop, implement, test, install, and maintain industrial software solutions in line with quality and validation standards. Prepare software validation documentation while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently in terms of cost, quality, and timing. Act as the technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders regarding software-related matters. Contribute to innovative technologies that help optimize production processes and support a more sustainable future. Our client is looking for an experienced automation professional who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience. Minimum 10+ years of experience in automation and industrial software development. Strong knowledge of TIA Portal , SCL , STL , LAD , and SQL . Experience with Schneider Drives is considered a strong asset. Knowledge of .NET is a valuable plus. Fluent in English ; Dutch language skills are an advantage. Willing to work 3 days per week on-site in the Halle or Wommelgem area. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
