Your Tasks
• Ensure product quality on the shop floor throughout all manufacturing phases.
• Make sure operations comply with technical and quality requirements in real time.
• Lead and coordinate quality activities directly on the shop floor.
• Coordinate the team of: Quality inspectors and Plant quality engineers
• Set priorities based on: production rate and criticality of issues
• Ensure quality coverage across all production areas.
With this you convince us
• Engineering degree (preferably industrial/aeronautical or similar).
• Solid experience (>10 years) in: plant quality/production in industrial or aeronautical environments.
• Experience coordinating operational teams.
• Strong knowledge in: in-process quality control (in-process inspection), interpretation of drawings and technical requirements, management of non-conformities in production, on-line containment methods, structural assembly processes, and practical knowledge of rework, product acceptance/rejection, inspection criteria. Experience with EASA Part 21G / ISO 9100 regulations is essential.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a production environment, strong problem-solving skills in real time, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
• A high level of English and Spanish is required. German will be considered an asset.
