Description Position Overview The Pizza Quality Control Specialist plays a key role in maintaining Sal’s Pizza’s reputation for excellence by ensuring product quality, consistency, and brand standards across all locations. This role conducts on-site audits, evaluates food preparation and presentation, and partners with restaurant leaders to identify improvement opportunities that enhance the guest experience and protect the Sal’s brand. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular on-site evaluations of product quality, presentation, and adherence to brand standards. • Partner with location managers to review audit results and support improvement plans. • Monitor recipe accuracy, ingredient handling, and portion control to ensure consistency. • Perform detailed product testing and sampling to verify compliance with quality expectations. • Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate action plans to Operations leadership. • Support the development and implementation of quality KPIs and tracking systems. • Assist with training initiatives related to food quality and operational standards. • Maintain a proactive presence in the field, fostering accountability and operational excellence. Requirements • 2+ years of experience in restaurant operations, quality control, or hospitality management. • Strong knowledge of pizza preparation, ingredient handling, and food safety standards. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and correct process deviations. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable coaching managers and teams. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital reporting tools. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to multiple locations weekly.
