Key Responsibilities •Perform high-quality welding of carbon steel pipework. •Weld pipework in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). •Read and interpret isometric drawings, fabrication drawings and piping layouts. •Prepare pipework for welding, including cutting, beveling, grinding and fit-up. •Ensure correct alignment and joint preparation prior to welding. •Produce welds that meet visual inspection and project quality requirements. •Work closely with Pipe Fitters, Supervisors and Project Teams. •Carry out weld repairs where required. •Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe and organised working environment. •Comply with all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and quality standards
