Position Overview
We are seeking a highly capable, motivated Physiotherapist with several years of private practice/MSK experience to join our winter clinics for the 2026/27 season . This role is ideal for practitioners confident in independently managing patients and contributing to clinical outcomes, patient engagement, and clinical performance. You'll be responsible for a varied caseload of acute and sub-acute injuries, with support from a team of experienced physiotherapists. You will also contribute to diary and rebooking management, and achieving sales targets for services and clinical products.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care:
• Confidently and independently assess, treat, and manage a diverse caseload, particularly snow sport-related injuries including a high volume of acute knee injuries (e.g., ACL ruptures)
• Deliver evidence-based, hands-on treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Rebook and manage follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes and patient records
• Independently facilitate onward imaging (e.g., MRI/X-ray) as required
• Contribute to patient engagement and clinic reputation
• Work toward individual and team sale targets/KPIs
• Liaise with referring providers and insurance companies
• Assist with clinic operations and occasionally mentoring junior team members
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy ( qualified/registered in Australia, New Zealand or the UK is highly regarded )
• Minimum 3 years of private practice, sports settings, and/or treating musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions
• Strong clinical reasoning and confident in independent decision-making
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and outcome-driven care
• High level of professionalism and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, season setting
• Fluent in English (verbal/written)
• Adaptable and comfortable living in shared accommodation
• Eligible for a Working Holiday Visa or valid permit in Japan (please ensure you meet the eligibility criteria before submitting your application. Sponsorships may be available if continuing with the company)
• Eligible for an International Driving Permit (highly recommend)
