Physician Opportunity – Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care - Joplin, Missouri Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care  is seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Physician  to join our team in   Joplin, Missouri area. . What You Can Expect • Competitive compensation package with a generous sign-on bonus • Monthly volume bonus based on patient metrics • Quarterly bonus (up to 5% of base salary) tied to patient satisfaction and quality outcomes • Comprehensive benefits starting day one: health, dental, vision, CME allowance and more! • Retirement plans with employer contributions and matching • Relocation assistance (if applicable) and professional liability coverage • Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) • Beautiful, state-of-the-art centers equipped with imaging, labs, and Epic EMR • Supportive staffing model including radiologic technologists, experienced medical assistants, and advanced practitioners • Part of one of the fastest-growing urgent care networks in the country What We’re Looking For • Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds • Active state medical license • 2–5 years of post-residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting • Experience treating patients across all age groups • Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X-rays • Strong communication and listening skills • Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers Your Role As a Physician at Mercy-GoHealth, you’ll independently provide a wide range of clinical services, including: • Examining and treating patients with acute conditions • Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications • Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations • Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care • Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support • Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a modern, integrated healthcare environment, with room for professional growth and development.
