Pharmacy Technician - Meath
QR Select is seeking a dedicated and professional Pharmacy Technician to join a busy community pharmacy located in Meath, just 15km northwest of Dublin city centre. This is a full-time, permanent position within an independent pharmacy that values work-life balance, offering no late nights, Sundays, or Bank Holiday shifts.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary and providing exceptional care to patients. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing stock levels to ensure the availability of medicinal products.
• Accurately and efficiently preparing and dispensing medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Processing and tracking claims in a timely manner.
• Delivering excellent patient care and addressing customer needs.
• Operating within the most up-to-date guidelines set by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
• Supporting the Pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary and reporting as required.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Fully qualified Pharmacy Technician certification.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a community pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with the Pharmacist to ensure the dispensary operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Assisting customers with their prescriptions and providing advice on over-the-counter products.
• Managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing stock.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and processing claims.
