POSITION SUMMARY The Pharmacy Technician I, Dispensing plays a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant medications that improve lives at scale across the largest 503A and 503B compounding pharmacy in the world. This role executes with precision in a fast-moving, highly regulated environment where quality, throughput, and documentation rigor directly impact patient safety and business performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Dispensing Accuracy & Compliance Order Verification: Review prescriptions, patient information, product details, and labeling elements carefully to ensure complete accuracy, regulatory compliance, and readiness for pharmacist review. Label Precision: Prepare and apply accurate labels with correct dosing, auxiliary warnings, expiration details, and traceability elements supporting safe patient delivery. Documentation Discipline: Complete dispensing records in real time with precision, ensuring audit readiness, data integrity, and full alignment with internal procedures. Workflow Execution & Throughput Task Prioritization: Organize daily dispensing activities by urgency, turnaround expectations, and workflow dependencies to consistently meet productivity and service commitments. Quality Pace: Maintain strong output under volume while preserving focus, minimizing rework, and protecting quality standards in every dispensing activity. Issue Escalation: Identify discrepancies, bottlenecks, or fulfillment risks early and communicate clearly to pharmacists or leaders before problems expand. Technology Adoption & Continuous Improvement Technology & Workflow Execution: Leverage established technology tools, system workflows, and data inputs to ensure accurate documentation, task visibility, and consistent execution of dispensing activities while maintaining full operational control and compliance.
