Glasgow | Hybrid & Flexible Working | Free On-Site Parking | Up to £34,000 + Excellent Benefits Are you an experienced Personal Tax professional looking to join a firm where your expertise is valued, your development is supported, and your work-life balance genuinely matters? A leading independent accountancy and business advisory firm is looking to appoint a Personal Tax Senior to join its growing Glasgow team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with personal tax compliance experience who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to build their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Opportunity You'll become part of an established tax team, managing a varied portfolio of clients and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality personal tax compliance services. Your client portfolio will include: • Sole traders • Company directors • Partnerships • High-net-worth individuals • Property investors and developers • Pensioners and private clients Key Responsibilities • Preparation and submission of Self Assessment Tax Returns • Preparation of personal tax computations • Handling Capital Gains Tax calculations and related compliance matters • Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries • Managing HMRC correspondence and compliance matters • Assisting with P11D preparation where required • Supporting senior members of the team with advisory assignments and planning opportunities • Building and maintaining strong client relationships About You You'll likely have: • 3+ years' experience within Personal Tax gained in an accountancy or legal practice environment • Strong knowledge of UK personal tax compliance • Experience managing your own client portfolio • Excellent communication and organisational skills • A proactive and client-focused approach • ATT qualification (or studying towards it) would be advantageous, although qualified by experience candidates are also encouraged to apply What's on Offer? • Salary up to £34,000 (DOE) • Hybrid working • Flexible working arrangements • Free on-site parking • Generous holiday allowance with the option to purchase additional leave • Pension scheme with life cover • Healthcare and wellbeing benefits • Professional subscription support • Ongoing training and career development • Employee assistance programme • Friendly and collaborative team culture • Clear opportunities for progression within a respected and growing firm If you're looking for a role that offers variety, flexibility and the opportunity to develop your career within a highly regarded practice, we'd love to hear from you.
