Personal Tax Assistant Manager Ipswich Circa £46,000 - £52,000 (Dependent on Experience) Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to add an Personal Tax Assistant Manager to the team in their Ipswich office. Supporting the partners and managers, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of compliance and reporting work for your clients is completed. Your role will be varied and may include partnership tax computations and tax returns, capital tax computations and reports, trust tax returns, IHT accounts and trust accounts. Aside from the compliance aspect of the role, you will be responsible for providing tax advice to your portfolio of clients as required and for other clients as required by partners and managers. You will also be responsible for supervising and providing guidance to junior team members within the team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a Personal Tax or Mixed Tax role and may be ATT/CTA/ACCA Qualified. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients and take responsibility to ensure compliance Deal with complex tax matters with an international aspect Identify opportunities for any additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists Manage and navigate HMRC enquiries on behalf of the client Provide guidance and assistance to junior members of the team Take responsibility of the billing of clients within your portfolio Participate in internal tax technical training sessions Liaise with internal teams (Accounts, Business Management & payroll) to ensure client affairs are co-ordinated and delivered on time Skills: CTA Part or Fully Qualified (ATT, ACCA or ACA Qualified also considered) Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment For further information on this role please contact Jack Wyatt - [email protected] / 07880 255933 CWJG
