Personal Care Assistant – Complex Care Support (two positions available) We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our small, supportive team, contributing to a 24/7 package of care for a gentleman with complex needs. Our client is non-verbal and lives with cerebral palsy, learning difficulties, and epilepsy. He uses a wheelchair and enjoys being out in the community, taking part in activities, and living an active social life. A key requirement of the role is that you are able to deliver high-quality, person-centred care both at home and when out in the community, supporting with personal care, daily living tasks, and encouraging independence. You will work on a 2:1 support ratio during the day. About You We are looking for someone who is: • An excellent communicator • A full UK driving licence holder • Physically able to push a wheelchair and support the client to take part in a wide range of activities most days • Flexible and adaptable, willing to cover sickness and holidays • Enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, patient and committed. What We Offer • A variety of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (day shifts and sleepovers), on a rota basis. • Enhanced pay rates for bank holidays • Full training and development • Sick pay • £13.95 per hour and £108.43 sleeping night rate • A supportive, positive working environment. The posts available are for 8-16hrs per week contracted and a bank worker on a zero-hours contract to cover annual leave, sickness and training.
