We're looking for Personal Assistant Support Workers to join our friendly Swanton Community Services team, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs across Hertfordshire. Through home visits and community-based support, you'll empower people to live independently, achieve their goals and enjoy fulfilling lives. You'll enjoy the security of structured working hours alongside the flexibility of full-time or part-time opportunities. What You'll Be Doing As a Personal Assistant Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support that enables individuals to live life their way. Your role will include: • Supporting people in their own homes and within their local communities • Encouraging independence and helping individuals achieve personal goals • Promoting wellbeing, safety and positive outcomes • Supporting access to community activities, appointments, shopping trips and social events • Building positive relationships and communicating in ways that best suit the individual • Monitoring and reporting any changes in wellbeing or support needs • Working independently while remaining connected to a supportive and experienced team About You We're looking for someone who is: • A driver with access to a vehicle (essential for this outreach role) • Reliable, self-motivated and confident working independently • Compassionate, patient and positive in their approach • An excellent communicator with strong people skills • Comfortable using basic IT systems • Passionate about delivering high-quality support • Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care Previous experience in care is welcome but isn't essential – what matters most is your attitude, values and desire to make a difference.
