14 year old Autistic boy who would like support to access activities in the community during the school holidays.
Advertised on behalf of a family:
We are looking for someone who can take our child out for a total of 8 hours a week during the school holiday so he can access activities. He enjoys going to the park, going swimming and would like to try new things. He will need support around road safety and danger awareness.
He can communicate verbally and is happy and calm when he is feeling well regulated. It is easy to tell when he is becoming dysregulated as he becomes very repetitive and only focuses on one thing.
Previous experience working with autistic children is preferrable but not essential.
