Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – East London
Key Details:
• Working Days: 4 days per week across two branches, plus 1:4 Saturdays and 1:8 Sundays at the hospital

About the Role:
• The client is seeking a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to split time between two East London branches, delivering first opinion care and collaborating with experienced clinical teams.
• The rota comprises two days in South Woodford and two days in Tottenham each week.
• There is a 1:4 branch on Saturday and a 1:8 Sunday rotation at a nearby 24-hour hospital, with up to two bank holidays per year.
• Once settled, the role will include last-resort on-call and twilight coverage within the hospital rota.
• An induction period will include a dedicated hospital induction day before any hospital shifts.
• In Tottenham, the vet will overlap with a senior vet on one day and cover sole charge on another. In South Woodford, the vet will work alongside a highly experienced senior vet both days with strong nursing support.
• The regional manager and regional head vet will provide operational and clinical support as needed. The nearby 24-hour hospital will support complex case referrals and provide OOH continuity of care through its night team.
