Permanent Transplant Nursery Worker
What does the job include?
We are looking for someone to join our team!
Working as part of a team to carry out seasonally relevant nursery work
predominantly outdoors.
This role reports directly to the Transplants Production Manager at Russell
End Farm, Redmarley, under the supervision of a nominated team leader.
It is permanent, subject to passing a probation period, and hours are
Monday to Friday based on the minimum of a 39 hour week.
Essential job functions include: Crop planting and aftercare (including
irrigation weeding and feeding) , lifting and grading, order assembly and
packaging, routine farm maintenance tasks, following instructions and
keeping records as required
What qualifications and skills do I need?
Ability to work effectively in teams or alone as required
(usually as part of a team)
A positive can-do attitude
A full current driving licence
A high regard for the health and safety of yourself and others
Physical fitness
Great listening skills
Additional responsibilities depending on experience and qualifications could include:
Seed preparation and sowing, crop spraying, tractor boom and
knapsack, lorry loading and unloading
