Roles & Responsibilities
This is a newly created opportunity for a professional with permanent recruitment experience to join this forward-thinking firm and really make a difference. As an experienced recruitment consultant, you will act as a bridge between clients (employers) and job seekers, managing the full recruitment cycle to fill permanent vacancies. You are responsible for business development, sourcing candidates, managing the interview process, negotiating offers, and achieving sales targets while building lasting relationships within your specialised industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Generating new business by calling current and new clients, attending relevant events, and meeting with potential clients to win new vacancies.
• Candidate Sourcing: Using databases, social media (e.g., LinkedIn), job boards, and headhunting techniques to find suitable talent.
• Client Management: Assessing client staffing needs, meeting clients o site and online to discuss requirements and develop the job description.
• Advertising vacancies: utilising a range of job boards to include Indeed, Total Jobs and LinkedIn to source talent for roles and presenting shortlisted candidates’ CV’s to clients to interview.
• Candidate Management: Interviewing candidates, reviewing CVs, checking ID, offering career advice, and guiding them through the interview process.
• Negotiation & Closure: Managing the offer process, negotiating salary rates, and finalising arrangements between both parties.
• Target Achievement: Hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for placements and revenue generation.
• Development: Commitment to bringing forward new ideas to make the permanent division a success
Skills Required
• Experience: Proven permanent recruitment experience. A strong and proven track record in sales. Strong commercial business acumen
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build rapport with clients and candidates.
• Sales/Goal-Oriented: A driven, competitive attitude with a desire to achieve financial targets. A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career with a winning mentality.
• Organisation: Strong multitasking abilities to manage multiple clients and vacancies simultaneously.
• Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the market sector you are recruiting for.
• Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Driving licence: Full driving licence and own transport

HOLIDAY: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. After two years this increases by 1 day (max of 25 days)
HOURS OF WORK: The office is open Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00, however you must be prepared to be flexible if candidates need out of hours interviews to ensure you secure a placement.
