Description
My client in central London is currently looking to recruit a permanent RVN to join their night team on a 7 on 7 off basis.
This is a permanent, full-time night role , offering an excellent balance of clinical challenge, learning opportunities and structured time off.
Key details:
• Salary: £38,381 – £41,503 (inclusive of London weighting, market supplement and night allowance)
• Rota: 7 nights on / 7 nights off
• Shift pattern: 21:00 – 08:30
• Location: Central London
About the role:
You’ll be responsible for the management and monitoring of in-patients overnight, delivering high standards of nursing care and client support. This is a clinically focused role within a progressive teaching hospital that prioritises animal welfare, low-stress handling and nurse-led inpatient care.
The hospital provides:
• High-quality first opinion small animal services
• Exotics and small mammal referral work, with full training provided
• Modern, spacious, species-specific clinical areas
• A strong learning culture, working alongside Cert AVP clinicians and specialist vets
This role would suit an RVN who:
• Has strong clinical nursing experience
• Enjoys inpatient and medical nursing
• Is confident working independently overnight
• Has an interest in teaching, learning and case discussion
• Has experience with exotics or small mammals (advantageous but not essential)
What’s on offer:
• 33 days annual leave pro rata, plus bank holidays
• Paid CPD days and free access to the full RVC CPD catalogue
• Excellent pension scheme
• Free on-site gym membership
• On-site café and restaurant
• A genuinely supportive, academic and clinically progressive environment
This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected teaching hospital where nursing is truly valued and developed.
