Description People Services (HR) Administrator (Temporary FTC until 31 January 2023) Up to 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday We have a great opportunity to join the People Services Team on a temporary basis. The People Services (HR) Team provide generalist and specialist HR support to circa 1200 employees and volunteers across the Rowans Hospice Charity which includes clinical, support and retail. The People Services (HR) Administrator will support in delivering an efficient, friendly and accurate administration service to the Charity. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for the HR profession and enjoys working as part of a team. This is a generalist position and will therefore provide opportunity to develop across all areas of the HR profession. This is a generalist role, performing a range of tasks such as; • Ensuring HR related documentation is obtained and processed • Updating and maintaining employee data on the HR system • Responding to general HR queries • Drafting letters and new starter contracts • Contribute to the review of HR policies and procedures • Any ad hoc duties as required The successful candidate will; • Be CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent • Able to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines • Have strong IT skills • High attention to detail • Able to communicate in a professional manner at all times In addition to a competitive salary, the Charity also offers a fantastic range of benefits including a health care plan, cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking and access to a confidential employee assistance programme.
