Description
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Care Nurse to join our team at Sunny Days Children's Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a dynamic and compassionate environment. Our healthcare facility is committed to delivering the best care possible, fostering a supportive community for both patients and staff. Key Responsibilities: Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient vitals and progress, maintaining accurate records. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, offering education when necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Ensure adherence to infection control standards. Required Skills and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing. Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Preferred/Nice-to-have Skills: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Education and Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Current RN licensure in state of practice. Soft Skills and Behavioral Expectations: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-focused attitude. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
