Position Requirements Description Pediatric Anesthesiologist opening with St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX; wide-variety of complex cases As part of St. David’s Health Care, the full-service St. David’s Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care and is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a setting that features a 426-bed acute care hospital and a 64-bed rehabilitation hospital. The medical center has a 24-hour emergency department and an all-inclusive Bariatric Surgery Center, and provides complex surgical services. Our practice provides anesthesia services at St. David’s Medical Center, North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center. Total Rewards Salary: $440K+ ~$130K productivity and call pay (total ~$570K) Premium pay over 40 hours Pediatric Specialty Stipend: $50K Sign on Incentive: $50K Comprehensive benefits package: • Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance • Generous paid time off • Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts • 401(k) & Profit Sharing • Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage • Loan repayment & training assistance available Case Assignments & Schedule • Schedule: Work an average of 40-50 hours per week • Varies Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Requirements • M.D./D.O.
