A full-time, permanent PCV Technician position is available in Wishaw, with a salary ranging from £42,120.00 to £51,480.00 per year. The role involves working 45 hours per week, with overtime available. Requirements • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2) (Light vehicle skilled mechanics will be considered for alternative positions) • Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering environment. • A PCV licence or the willingness to gain a PCV licence is desirable but not essential. • Experience of working with buses and coaches would be advantageous, however, HGV and light-vehicle mechanics should also apply. Responsibilities • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing and parts replacement • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used. • Carry out routine vehicle servicing and examinations to DVSA standards. • Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns. • Have the ability, to work at the highest Health & Safety standards.
