Description The Patient Service Specialist will: • Demonstrate the ability to organize the office efficiently and effectively. • Contribute to a pleasant and cooperative team environment. • Cross train in all areas of reception. • Accurately and expeditiously register patients. • Demonstrate the ability to respond to requests for information, both patient specific as well as practice specific. • Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain office equipment. • Demonstrate the ability to accurately prepare and maintain patient charts Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Six (6) months’ customer service/clerical experience, including computer operation • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). • Proficient typing skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software. Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.50 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
