We are Looking for: We are looking for a professional and courteous Patient Service Representative I to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordinating financial responsibilities, and ensuring that our patients have a positive experience when they visit our facility. Responsibilities: • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner • Verify patient information, including insurance coverage and personal information • Collect co-pays and other fees from patients at the time of service • Ensure the referrals are in the patient's chart before the patient comes in • Maintain patient records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date • Count cash box and complete cash reconciliation forms. Once close is completed, sign off on EBO report and cash reconciliation • Handle patient complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner • Perform other administrative tasks as needed Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental Insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred
