Introduction to team Travel Partnerships and Media   helps   partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply,   a valued   advertising and travel media   network , and affiliate solutions. The Partner Growth & Agility team works with Expedia Group’s hotel and accommodation partners to improve their end-to-end competitive   position   making the most   from   their participation in the Expedia marketplace. You will work as part of a team, with the primary goal of improving the conversion rate for our high-demand markets. You will   closely work   in collaboration with other in-market account management teams to ensure the right and competitive conditions across high demand markets and   ultimately provide   the best product on EG-branded sites as well as those of our B2B Demand partners. In this role, you will: • This is a   predominantly phone-based   role, and you will be reaching out to a portfolio of existing accommodation partners each day. You will   closely work   with these hotel partners to: • Optimize   rate and availability competitiveness on the Expedia platform to increase customer conversion • Secure   additional   lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs • Coordinate with other account management teams to secure an aligned and effective level of competitiveness across high-demand Asia Pacific markets • Educate hotel partners on the self-service features available on Expedia Partner Central to make them independent in managing all the core aspects of our marketplace and make the mutual business more sustainable over the partners’ lifecycle • Re-establish core fundamentals to re-engage with dormant hotel partners • Take time to shop our sites as a traveler would to   identify   issues that may not have been   identified   by our automated shopping tools and help to   identify   additional   root causes of   uncompetitiveness • Collaborate with the leadership team on region-level initiatives and projects, from initiation through to execution and measuring results • Work closely with a variety of internal teams to drive market strategy • Provide coaching to colleagues (Associate Account Managers) and peers on best practices and workflow methodologies • Be a role model for operational excellence within the team in partner outreach, commercial   mindset   and delivering results • Be the bridge between leadership and team members by   identifying   opportunities for improvement and guiding peers to help drive the team’s success. Experience and qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in a related field; or Equivalent related professional experience • Strong   proficiency   in English, as well as either Indonesian or Mandarin Chinese.   Additional   language   proficiency   is a plus • 4+ years of experience in hotel sales/revenue management, account management, inside sales or business development preferred • Able to work independently as well as be   a strong team   player, ensuring the whole team wins • Demonstrated ability to work based on a variety targets, goals and/or strategic objectives set by the leadership team • Appetite for innovative technology, fast-changing business environment, robust data driven analysis • Presents ideas and directives clearly and persuasively; actively listens when spoken/presented to • Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels • Ability to handle objection, secure commitments and be resilient • Possesses outstanding listening,   investigating   and influencing skills • Hungry, determined, motivated, willing to   take action   and results-focused • Organization and time management skills, rigor, attention to details • Proven follow-up/persistence when facing challenging situations • Ability to multi-task effectively and be able to change gears quickly without skipping a beat • Ability to perform under pressure and think on your feet in a fast-paced environment • Open to feedback for continuous improvement • Relationship builder; earns the confidence of others • Bridges and sustains solid partnerships based on mutual support through a collaborative style • Work autonomously and collaboratively with a diverse team • Possess a strong appetite for innovative technology, fast-changing business environment, and data driven decision-making • Prioritize and multi-task effectively to achieve critical targets, goals, and/or strategic objectives set by leadership team Accommodation requests Expedia Group is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruiting experience.
