As a Particleboard Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient production of particleboards. Schedule: 12-hour rotating 7-7 swing shift (2-2-3) 2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights. Starting Pay: $21/hour City: Lexington, NC Contract Type: Fulltime Employment Job-Code: 6341 Department: Production RESPONSIBILITIES JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following. • Operate and monitor high automated machinery involved in the production of particleboards. • Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflow and efficiency. • Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the production process. • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure particleboards meet specified standards. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the production area. • Follow all Safety Rules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). • Other duties as assigned. SCHEDULE DEMANDS • Schedule: 12-hour rotating 7-7 swing shift (2-2-3) 2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time up to 12-hours. • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices. • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment. • Tolerate indoor and outdoor environments and extreme temperatures. QUALIFICATIONS BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE • Experience in clear communication. • Understanding and ability to work as part of a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and ability to learn. • Experience with tools and machinery. • Demonstrate ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. • Work efficiently and manage time effectively. EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE • Minimum high school diploma, additional education a plus. • Valid Driver's License.
