Part Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Asst - ENT Clinic 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location University Health 1 (UH1) Kansas City, Missouri Department UH Clinic ENT UHTMC Position Type Part time Work Schedule 8:00AM - 4:30PM Hours Per Week 24 Job Description The Advance Practice Registered Nurse- Clinical Specialty provides an advanced level of care in collaboration with specialty physicians and other members of the health care team to a specific patient population. Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in the assessment and treatment of disease and management of health/illness where Clinical Specialty is a preferred treatment resource for patients.   May perform specific diagnostic and/or interventional procedures under the supervision of the physician. Minimum Requirements • Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing • Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri • Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification • Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required. • Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider • Current BCLS verification • Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice • Demonstrates leadership ability • 3-5 years clinical experience • Current ACLS and must be maintained in a current/active state for continued employment when required by the department
