A fantastic role for a proactive Nanny Housekeeper seeking a long-term position with a kind and welcoming family in Hampstead. Job Summary: A warm family is seeking a proactive Nanny Housekeeper to provide a 50/50 split of childcare and housekeeping support for their 1-year-old and 4-year-old children. The role involves working alongside the family’s current nanny, assisting with childcare, preparing meals for the children, light housekeeping, laundry, dishwashing, and walking the family’s small dog. Cooking for the family would be a welcome bonus. The position is ideally Thursday to Saturday, with hours of 7:30am–5:30pm on Thursday and Friday and 9:00am–6:00pm on Saturday (essential). Flexibility on days, hours. The family values a hands-on approach and Montessori principles, and they are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. General Duties: Assist with the care of a 1-year-old and 4-year-old Prepare meals and snacks for the children Support the family’s existing nanny Light housekeeping and household organisation for children Laundry and dishwashing Walk the family’s small dog Occasional family cooking would be a plus Candidate Specifications: Experience caring for young children, particularly toddlers Previous experience managing food allergies, specifically nut allergies Knowledge or appreciation of Montessori methods Positive, flexible, and proactive attitude Happy to work as part of a team alongside an existing nanny Comfortable around dogs and willing to walk a small dog Italian speaker desirable but not essential Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate How to apply: Applying for this position: Please email your interest in this position to [email protected] Please ensure you include the reference number for the position you are applying for (found at the top of the advert).
