Job Summary A warm and welcoming family based in Hampstead is seeking an experienced, flexible, and engaging Part-Time Live-In Travel Nanny to care for their three children on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny who enjoys working alongside hands-on parents while confidently taking sole charge when required. The role is primarily after school during term time, with one longer day each week beginning at 11:00am. During private school holidays (approximately six weeks per year), additional childcare support will be required, together with occasional proxy parenting when the parents are away. The family travels extensively throughout the UK and internationally, making this an ideal opportunity for a nanny who enjoys travel and becoming part of a long-term family. Job Specification Childcare Duties School collections and after-school care One longer working day each week from 11:00am Organising stimulating activities and outings Supporting routines and developmental milestones Educational play and homework support Preparing children’s meals when required Providing full-time childcare during private school holidays (approximately six weeks per year) Sole-charge care when parents are unavailable Occasional proxy parenting, including overnight care for up to two nights when parents are travelling Working alongside Mum during shared-care periods Accompanying the family on UK and international travel Candidate Specification The ideal candidate will: Have previous professional nanny experience within a private household Be confident with both sole-charge and shared-care responsibilities Enjoy travelling internationally Be warm, engaging and child-focused Have excellent communication and organisational skills Be reliable, discreet and proactive Be happy with occasional overnight proxy parenting Have a long-term outlook and enjoy becoming part of the family Desirable Italian-speaking Previous travelling nanny experience Experience working within HNW/UHNW households Accommodation The successful candidate will benefit from exceptional live-in accommodation, including: Private self-contained one-bedroom apartment Separate entrance Independent living space Meals provided Compliance Enhanced DBS required at offer stage.
