If you need assistance or have questions regarding the application process, please contact: Human Resources [email protected] (775) 445-4237 2201 West College Parkway Carson City, NV 89703 Job Description Duties and Responsibilities : • Teach assigned courses and be available to students during the contract period • Prepare course syllabi, course outlines (if necessary) and related instructional materials • Maintain student records, including attendance and grades • Administer student evaluations • Participate in orientation and faculty meetings as requested • Participate in student retention activities as requested • Promote college educational programs and services to the communities served by WNC Qualifications : Required Qualifications: • Master's Degree or Master's in progress. NOTE: Employment for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree (BSN) is contingent on approval by the Nevada Board of Nursing. Approval will be sought by Western Nevada College Preferred Qualifications: • One or more years of experience working on a Pediatric or Obstetrical unit • Experience teaching college level courses • Experience with distance education/web-teaching modalities • Fluency in Spanish Additional Information This is a part-time, temporary/seasonal position.
