A welcoming family of four in Richmond are seeking an experienced, organised part time Housekeeper (Self Employed) to maintain their four bedroom family home and work alongside their full time nanny. Job Summary: A lovely family based in Richmond are looking for a proactive and reliable Housekeeper to take responsibility for the day to day upkeep and organisation of their home. This is a long-term position suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high housekeeping standards, enjoys working independently, and is comfortable working alongside the family’s nanny. The family live in a well-presented four-bedroom home arranged over four levels in Richmond. They currently employ a full-time nanny, and a cleaner attends once a week. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining the home’s cleanliness and organisation while working harmoniously alongside the nanny. Initially, the role offers approximately 15 hours per week; however, there is the opportunity for this to increase to around 20 hours per week in the future should the successful candidate be happy to take on the weekly deep clean currently completed by the cleaner. Days and Hours: Days – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Hours – 8:30am to 11:30am x 2 days, 8:30am to 1pm x 2 days Job specification: General housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and organised home Laundry and ironing Hoovering and dusting Cleaning and tidying throughout the property Grocery unpacking and kitchen organization Household organisation and maintaining high standards throughout Working collaboratively alongside the family’s full-time nanny Candidate specification: Experienced in a similar private household housekeeping role Child friendly and comfortable working in a family home Organised, proactive and able to work independently Reliable, trustworthy and discreet Happy working alongside the family’s nanny Willing to be self employed DBS check required at offer stage How to apply: Applying for this position: Please email your interest in this position to [email protected] Please ensure you include the reference number for the position you are applying for (found at the top of the advert).
