Description
Part-Time Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor – South Dublin City Centre
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Facilities Management organisation who are looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time HSE Advisor to support key client sites based in South Dublin City Centre.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional seeking flexibility, whether you are balancing other commitments, consultancy work, or returning to the workplace in a structured but part-time capacity. You’ll join a supportive and experienced HSEQ function, working in a role that still offers strong autonomy, client interaction, and variety despite reduced hours.
Why This Role Stands Out
• Flexible part-time schedule (2 days per week)
• City-centre based – minimal travel required
• Strong work-life balance without losing professional engagement
• Opportunity to remain in a hands-on, client-facing HSE role
• Supportive team with established systems and processes
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and review Safety Statements, Risk Assessments, and HSE procedures
• Provide day-to-day Health & Safety advice and guidance to assigned sites
• Support compliance with Irish Health & Safety legislation
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Assist in maintaining ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 standards
• Prepare and maintain essential HSE documentation and records
• Support contractor management and safety compliance
• Deliver toolbox talks and basic HSE training where required
• Build strong working relationships with clients, management, and on-site teams
• Prepare clear, concise HSEQ reports
What We’re Looking For
• Strong working knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation
• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Health & Safety or similar discipline
• At least 3 years’ experience in a HSE Advisor or similar role
• Experience working within structured HSEQ / ISO environments
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Good reporting and organisational skills
• IOSH membership (or working towards) is desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Who This Role Would Suit
• An experienced HSE professional seeking a part-time or flexible role
• A consultant or contractor looking to complement their current workload
• Someone returning to work who wants relevant, engaging HSE experience without full-time hours
• A candidate who prefers a stable, city-centre-based position over a mobile role
Interested?
If you’re an experienced HSE Advisor looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in Dublin city centre, I’d be happy to discuss this role with you in confidence.
