This is a part-time, live-out role (approximately 4 hours per day) based in a gorgeous village near Great Dunmow - for an experienced Housekeeper cook who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of the house There are cleaners employed, so this role is not focused on all the cleaning, but rather on ensuring the house runs smoothly, and is well organised being hands on . The role would include • Maintaining daily order in the kitchen and living spaces, ensuring everything is reset, tidy and in the right place • Light dinner preparation to a high standard • Maintaining a consistently high standard and sense of order throughout the house • Full responsibility for all household laundry (washing, ironing, putting away, wardrobe organisation) – • Preparing rooms and bathrooms for guests/children • Keeping on top of household supplies (creating lists and placing orders such as Ocado/butcher) • Handling simple household admin (e.g. booking cars for servicing, coordinating deliveries, general organisation) • Comfortable around dogs and happy to walk them • • Someone who naturally notices what needs doing and gets on with it without being asked • Takes pride in doing things properly and improves over time without repeated instruction • Is organised, practical and comfortable using a laptop for basic admin • Is calm, discreet and can beaver away quietly in the background
