We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bank Staff Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and nurturing team at the College Nursery in Truro. As a valued member of our nursery team, you will work closely with senior practitioners to support the care, development, and wellbeing of babies and young children in a stimulating and inclusive environment. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for qualified practitioners who are looking to work on an as-and-when-needed basis, supporting the nursery during busy periods, staff absences, or to help maintain adult-to-child ratios. What We’re Looking For: • A level 2 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) is essential or currently working towards level 3. • At least 12 months’ experience working within an early year setting. • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a child-centred approach to care. • Flexibility to work varied shifts in line with the operational needs of the nursery. Working Hours: The nursery is open Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. As part of the bank team, you’ll be expected to be available to cover shifts across these hours when required.
