Kimberton Whole Foods Commissary Kitchen is hiring a part-time Packaging Team Member
Hourly Requirements: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.
Schedule: Sunday 8:30am-5pm, Tuesday 8:30am-5pm, Thursday rotating 7am-3:30pm or 11am-7:30pm. Sundays are required.
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.

Hourly Pay: $16.00-$17.00/hr depending on experience
Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked.
Daily Operations:
The essentials of this position are food preparation and packaging of high-volume organic scratch recipes to be sold in our seven locations! This is a great opportunity for anyone who loves food and being physically active.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Package, price, label and assemble prepared foods for a high-volume kitchen.
• Hands on preparation and production of entire grab and go line.
• Fulfill store orders and make ready for delivery.
• Packaging prepared foods, fish, wraps, soups and salad dressings.
• Wash, peel and cut various foods such as fruits and vegetables.
• Assist cooks and kitchen team with various tasks as needed.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans.
Requirements
Physical Capabilities:
• Full Sense Range (Vision, Hearing, and Sense of Smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Lifting, Gripping and Carrying Objects – Up to 50 to 75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
• Stooping, Squatting, and Kneeling – Stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking – Short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
• Standing – Prolonged standing.
• Work Environment – Movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking/standing) rather than sedentary (sitting).
• Climate – Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
