Description
List of Requirements • Transportation: Must have your own reliable transportation to and from the RV park. A valid driver’s licence is highly preferred, as the role may require moving between areas of the property or accessing supply storage. • Technology: Must be comfortable using a smartphone to clock in and out via a time card app, communicate with management, review turnover schedules and checklists, and utilize other technology-based tools required for the role. • Experience: Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or short-term rental turnover experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic. • Reliability & Independence: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision, particularly when managing time-sensitive turnovers. • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and a commitment to presenting each tiny home and facility to a consistently high standard. • Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, lift up to 25 lbs (approx. 11 kg), and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout a shift. • Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. A Social Insurance Number (SIN) is required for T4 payroll processing. List of Duties • As our Part-Time Cleaner and Tiny Home Turnover Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of our RV park facilities and tiny home rentals. This role requires approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on park occupancy, guest check-outs, and seasonal needs. All cleaning equipment and supplies are provided by the park. • A key part of this role is the ability to work efficiently and independently — particularly when tiny homes require a quick turnaround between guest departures and new arrivals. You must be comfortable assessing the condition of a unit, prioritizing tasks, and completing a full turnover to a high standard within a defined window of time. • Tiny Home Turnovers • Perform complete short-term rental turnovers between guest stays, including thorough cleaning of all interior spaces (kitchen, bathroom, sleeping areas, and living areas), wiping down all surfaces, sanitizing high-touch areas, and ensuring the unit is guest-ready to the park’s standard. Assess the condition of each tiny home upon entry, identify any maintenance concerns or damage, and report findings to management promptly. Prioritize and manage multiple turnovers efficiently when back-to-back bookings require quick preparation. • Laundry & Linen Service • Strip and replace bed linens, pillowcases, and towels between guest stays. Wash, dry, fold, and restock all linens and towels to ensure a consistent supply is always available. Maintain laundry areas in a clean and organized condition. • Supplies & Inventory Restocking • Restock in-unit guest, common washrooms and laundry room supplies (e.g., toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish soap, and other consumables) after each turnover. Monitor and track supply levels, flag low inventory to management, and assist with organizing supply storage areas. Contribute to maintaining accurate inventory counts to support efficient ordering. • General Park Facility Cleaning • Perform routine cleaning duties across shared RV park facilities, including washrooms, laundry rooms, the gazebo, office, and other common areas. Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors; clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors; empty garbage and recycling receptacles; and ensure all areas meet the park’s cleanliness standards. • Not all of these duties will be done every day but will depend on guest bookings and overall usage. Additional Details What We Offer • Competitive hourly wage on a T4 payroll • All cleaning equipment and supplies provided by the park • A friendly, supportive, and team-oriented work environment • Flexible, part-time hours that fit around your schedule • Be a part of a purpose-built community property • Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay in accordance with provincial employment standards
