Pertemps is supporting Parcelforce to find a Parcel Delivery Driver for a full-time temporary role based in Stoke, paying £15.06 per hour. Working up to 35 hours per week, your schedule will be Monday to Friday with weekend availability required, and shifts running from 16:00pm to 20:00pm. Duties include sorting and loading your vehicle at the local delivery office, then delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, covering up to 8 miles daily. You will use a handheld device for navigation and tracking, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries. This position suits someone active, self-sufficient, and focused on providing excellent customer service while representing a respected brand. What You’ll Be Doing: · Load & Go: Start your day at the local delivery office sorting and loading your vehicle. · On the Move: Deliver letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, walking up to 8 miles a day. · Tech-Savvy Delivery: Use a handheld device for route navigation and signature captures. · Hands-On Work: Lift and carry mailbags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg), using delivery trolleys when needed. What We’re Looking For: · A full UK manual driving licence (maximum of 6 points; clean preferred). · Comfortable working outdoors through rain, shine, or snow. · Excellent time management and customer service skills. · Previous Driving/ Delivering experience would great (but isn’t essential!)
