Description
Pantry Cook / Garde Manger Jonathan's Landing Golf Club — Jupiter, FL Full-Time, Year-Round | Starting at $21.00/hour | Medical, Dental, Vision The Position Our kitchen serves members across multiple dining venues and a full calendar of club events — and we're looking for someone to own the cold side of it. We're seeking an experienced Pantry Cook (Garde Manger) to run our cold station for both à la carte service and club events: salads, composed appetizers, chilled soups, charcuterie, dressings, and cold plated presentations. This is a station where knife skills and plating show. You'll work under Executive Chef Joseph Watters, CEC, who captained Team USA at the 2025 International Catering Cup in Lyon, France — alongside a team that takes technique seriously. What You'll Do • Set up, maintain, and break down the pantry station for each service • Prepare salads, dressings, cold appetizers, and sandwiches to club recipe and presentation standards • Slice, portion, and garnish cold meats, fish, and poultry • Execute cold items for banquets, luncheons, and special functions • Maintain product levels through service and communicate shortages to the Sous Chef ahead of time • Keep the pantry area, refrigeration, and walk-in clean, dated, rotated, and organized • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards What We're Looking For • Prior pantry, garde manger, or cold station experience required • Strong knife skills and a real eye for presentation • Organized, detail-oriented, and steady during a busy service • A team player who takes pride in the plate • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays during season • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Why Our Club Club dining operates on a different rhythm than restaurant work. Our kitchen runs on a consistent schedule with reasonable service hours, a fully staffed line, and a welcoming member base. Jonathan's Landing is a Platinum Club of America — a distinction held only by the top private clubs in the country. We're also a 2026 Top Workplaces award winner, recognition that came from our own team members. Compensation & Benefits • Starting at $21.00 per hour, with room based on experience • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Complimentary daily staff meals • Uniforms provided • Paid time off • Growth and mentorship within an established club culinary team Ready to Apply? Apply directly through this posting. If you've worked a cold station and take pride in what leaves it, we'd like to meet you.
