The Paid Social Specialist will join TechnologyAdvice’s Paid Media team and focus on building, managing, and optimizing paid social advertising campaigns that drive high-intent B2B technology buyers to our owned properties. This role exists to deepen the team’s specialization in paid social channels as our paid media program continues to scale across multiple platforms.
You will work closely with the Associate Director of Paid Media, the Paid Social Strategist, and other team members to support and execute campaign initiatives across Meta, LinkedIn, and additional social platforms. This is a hands-on role responsible for campaign builds, audience development, performance optimization, reporting, and experimentation. The ideal candidate brings strong platform expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage campaigns at scale while continuously improving performance and ROAS.

What you'll do
Build, launch, and manage paid social campaigns across platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Quora, Reddit, and other social channels.
Develop and refine audience targeting strategies, including core audiences, lookalikes, and retargeting segments using first-party data and platform signals.
Monitor campaign performance and adjust bidding strategies, budgets, targeting, and creative to improve efficiency and increase return on ad spend (ROAS).
Collaborate with marketing, creative, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure accurate tracking, event implementation, and campaign measurement.
Manage creative requests and coordinate with design teams to produce ad assets that meet platform requirements and campaign objectives.
Analyze campaign performance using social ad platforms, Google Analytics, and reporting tools such as Looker Studio or Tableau.
Prepare performance summaries and reporting dashboards to communicate campaign insights and results to internal stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns and improve underperforming segments through testing frameworks and optimization strategies.
Stay current on platform updates, new ad formats, automation features, and industry trends in paid social advertising.
Contribute to the ongoing expansion of our paid media initiatives by testing new channels, audiences, and creative approaches.
Who you are
3 - 5 years of hands-on experience building and managing paid social campaigns, specifically within Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
Experience managing campaigns with meaningful budgets (ideally $50K–$100K+ per month) and optimizing toward performance metrics such as ROAS and revenue.
