A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce service provider, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking an addition to the Supply Chain team as Packaging Buyer to strengthen their position with customers at an exciting time of expansion. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the position of Packaging Buyer will become part of a dedicated team to ensure the efficient procurement of all packaging for an exciting portfolio of customers, supplying product that is destined for key retailers. Responsibilities include; Manage supplier relationships, providing forecasts to ensure efficient supply of required stock Work with customers to identify and procure packaging requirements Manage invoicing and order reconciliation and ensure accuracy Assist with stock checks as required We require; Food / Fresh Produce sector exposure advantageous Experience in a Packaging focused procurement / buying position Ability to communicate at all levels, working professionally with customers and suppliers Strong IT skills, with the ability to generate forecasts, orders, reports, stock data and work with inhouse designs Location: Kent Salary: Competitive Hours: Monday – Friday
