Overnight Psychiatrist - MO MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of behavioral health services supporting hospitals, emergency departments, inpatient behavioral health units, long term care centers and a variety of other clinical settings. We partner with healthcare organizations to deliver best-in-class, end- to-end behavioral health solutions that combine evidence-based care pathways, advanced technology, and high-quality providers. Schedule: 12 hour shifts available, 2-3 evenings per week Compensation: dependent on experience and contract type Location: telehealth - MO licensed Responsibilities: • Psychiatrist must hold an active Missouri ( MO ) medical license. An additional TX, KS, LA license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility is preferred. • The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders in an acute care setting. • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed • The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions. • Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc. • The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care. • Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed. • The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care. • Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management • Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract. Qualifications: • Psychiatrist must hold an active Missouri ( MO ) medical license.
