Description
An expanding professional services firm is looking for a talented Senior Manager to join its growing Corporate Tax team. This is a unique opportunity to work with major international businesses, providing support across a broad range of compliance and advisory projects in an evolving tax landscape.
About the Role
In this position, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of corporate tax engagements, working with senior decision-makers and contributing to the continued success of the team. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality outcomes, developing lasting client relationships, and helping to guide and support more junior colleagues.
Responsibilities
• Manage the delivery of complex corporate tax compliance, reporting, and advisory projects.
• Develop strong, long-term client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Ensure technical accuracy and quality across all client deliverables.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other specialist areas to provide comprehensive solutions.
• Contribute to business development by spotting opportunities and supporting growth initiatives.
• Mentor, support and coach team members, encouraging professional development.
• Play an active role in initiatives that enhance team performance and culture.
Candidate Profile
• Extensive corporate tax experience, gained within practice or an in-house environment.
• A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, CA or equivalent).
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise effectively and perform under pressure.
• Experience in developing and managing junior staff.
Desirable Experience
• Exposure to tax accounting or tax audit.
• Project management expertise, including budget and deadline management.
