Outreach Tutor - Chester The Opportunity Prospero Teaching is recruiting committed Outreach Tutors to support children and young people across Chester through personalised 1:1 tuition. You'll work with learners who may be unable to access mainstream education, require alternative provision or need additional support to re-engage with learning. Every tuition package is tailored to the individual, allowing you to build strong relationships and make a lasting impact. Position Details Location: Chester Position: Outreach Tutor Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible) Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Experience, Training and Qualifications The successful Outreach Tutor will have: Experience teaching or tutoring on a 1:1 basis Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH or those who are disengaged from education QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (preferred) Strong communication and behaviour management skills To be eligible, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one Provide two professional child-related references Apply Today If you're passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to education and thrive through personalised support, we'd love to hear from you.
