This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, supportive team of 70 colleagues, including 15 vets, 21 RVNs, 9 SVNs, 6 VCAs, and a strong administrative and management team. The Role 27 hours per week contract 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota Shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am Consults: 30-minute OOH appointments as standard No accommodation provided You will be part of a dedicated and well-supported night team, including: 1 Night Nurse 1 Night VCA Receptionist until 10pm Additional Twilight Nurse until midnight Clinical Expectations As an advanced practice, this role requires a confident and capable clinician who can work independently overnight. You will be expected to routinely perform and manage: Caesarean sections Pyometra surgeries Exploratory laparotomies (including enterotomy and enterectomy) Complex medical cases such as: Addison’s disease Diabetic ketoacidosis Severe pancreatitis Support & Development Access to certificate holders in: Surgery Medicine Endosurgery Dentistry Strong day team support for complex or challenging cases Certificate sponsorship actively encouraged Candidate Requirements Previous OOH/ECC experience preferred Ability to work confidently and independently in a night setting
