🌍 Oracle Licensing Specialist 📍 Location: Remote – Brazil 🚀 About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Oracle Licensing Specialist to join our team as both an analyst and trusted advisor . In this role, you’ll help organisations navigate the complexities of Oracle Technology licensing (with a strong focus on Database) —ensuring compliance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and guiding strategic decisions across complex enterprise environments. You’ll blend deep technical licensing expertise with client-facing consulting , working closely with stakeholders to optimise Oracle investments and reduce risk. 🔍 What You’ll Be Doing 📊 Licensing Analysis Analyse Oracle Database environments to determine licensing requirements and compliance Review usage across on-prem, virtualised, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures Interpret Oracle contracts, policies, ordering documents, and renewals Conduct Effective License Position (ELP) assessments Identify gaps, risks, and optimisation opportunities Validate licensing metrics such as: Processor Named User Plus (NUP) Cloud-based models Support audit readiness activities 🤝 Consulting & Advisory Provide strategic licensing guidance to clients and internal teams Advise on Oracle licensing impacts for: New projects Migrations Upgrades Cloud transformations Support contract negotiations with licensing insight & risk analysis Help clients develop cost optimisation strategies Recommend architecture decisions that impact licensing Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during Oracle audits and defence 📝 Reporting & Documentation Produce detailed licensing reports & executive summaries Document risks, assumptions, and recommendations Build licensing models and cost forecasts Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences ✅ What We’re Looking For 🎓 Education Bachelor’s degree in: IT / Computer Science Business Administration Software Asset Management (or similar) ✅ Oracle or SAM certifications are a plus 💼 Experience 3+ years in: Oracle Licensing Software Asset Management (SAM) IT Asset Management or Oracle Consulting Strong experience with Oracle Database licensing Proven ability to interpret: Contracts Licensing policies Support agreements Experience supporting Oracle audits and compliance reviews Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure & cloud platforms 🛠️ Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of: Oracle Technology product portfolio Licensing metrics & policies Partitioning & virtualisation rules Cloud platforms: OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP Virtualisation tools: VMware, Hyper-V, containers 📈 Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Ability to translate technical environments into licensing requirements Advanced Excel & reporting skills Experience with SAM tools and discovery platforms ⭐ Nice to Have Oracle certifications SAM certifications (IAITAM, ITAM, etc.) Experience working with global enterprise environments Knowledge of Oracle Database licensing principles Exposure to cloud migration or modernisation projects 💡 Core Competencies Oracle Licensing Expertise Software Asset Management Compliance & Risk Assessment Audit Support & Defence Contract Interpretation Cost Optimisation Stakeholder Management Consulting & Advisory Technical Analysis Communication & Presentation Skills Negotiation Support Strategic Planning 🚀 Ready to Make an Impac
